Focus and scope

NEXOS publishes original, peer-reviewed research that critically examines the challenges facing legal systems, with attention to their historical, institutional, and cultural contexts. The journal values comparative and global perspectives that enrich legal research and foster the exchange of ideas across borders. Interdisciplinary approaches are especially welcome, including research that integrates Law with fields such as Sociology, Political Science, Philosophy, Economics, and Anthropology. Submissions may be theoretical, empirical, or applied, as long as they demonstrate rigor and relevance to the field. The journal seeks contributions that advance legal knowledge in its normative, institutional, social, and practical dimensions.
