About the Journal

NEXOS – Journal of Law adopts a continuous publication system with the aim of ensuring agility in scientific communication and increasing the visibility of published works. Its mission is to promote the dissemination of high-quality legal research, grounded in scientific rigor, academic ethics, and a commitment to social transformation. The journal seeks to contribute to the strengthening of a critical, inclusive, and socially engaged legal science, one that engages with contemporary challenges and supports the construction of a democratic society.

Publications of articles adopting interdisciplinary approaches are encouraged, particularly those committed to justice, human rights, social equity, and the appreciation of diversity. Manuscripts must be original and may be of a theoretical or applied nature, written in Portuguese, English, or Spanish, in accordance with the author guidelines.

The evaluation process follows the double-blind peer review model, ensuring impartiality, transparency, and academic quality in editorial decisions. All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by specialists with recognized expertise in the field, based on criteria such as originality, theoretical and social relevance of the topic, methodological adequacy, clarity of presentation, and effective contribution to the advancement of legal knowledge and related areas.
